In this thrilling journey, the protagonists uncover the enigma behind a magical book containing advice on embracing self-love and inner beauty. As they thwart the malicious schemes of a group of hags, they discover that The Price of Beauty, despite its seemingly mundane tips, emanates illusions and conjuration magic. This enchantment is attributed to a mysterious magic mirror embedded in its cover. Although the Avowed have yet to decipher the mirror's complete capabilities, the book has been reported to communicate with certain readers, including an acolyte who mysteriously disappeared from Candlekeep.
